- Ebenezer Reformed Church
- is Located in Leighton Iowa, and is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America. Our worship times are Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sunday school at 10:45 a.m. Our evening service is at 6:00 pm. Our Youth Fellowship "SHIFT" meets Sunday Evening at 6:00 P.M. I just finally watched that video clip. i have lots of thoughts:
1. Thimerosol DOES NOT cause autism. This has been proven OVER AND OVER!! I do not know where this guy is getting his (lack-of) info - the science is NOT there.
2. ALL flu vaccines have a very, very rare side effect of guillan barre. but it's VERY, VERY rare. And for some people, the risk of contracting the flu is much, much higher. As a pregnant woman, I'll probably get it - since pregnant women are at some of the highest risk for having complications. (The only reason i might not is if the virus makes it way through our community and is gone before the vaccine is ready.)
3. Most physicians I know are encouraging people to get it, and will get it themselves.
I guess that is about it. I get a little fired up about people who ignore science and say that vaccines are bad. They are not.
